One Somali government soldier has been killed and another one has wounded after groups armed with pistols attacked them today at nasiib buundo junction in the north of the Somali capital. The attackers escaped the area unharmed after shooting the two soldiers.

Soon after this incident heavily armed government forces reached the scene and began security search which affected the circulation and the population movement.

Government forces are usually targeted by the insurgent forces who accuse them of being mere stooges for the Ethiopians.
