Mowlid macaane Mohamed, a Somali mp described the Djibouti peace accord which brought together the Somali opposition group and the transitional government as incomplete.
“The peace accord was a great success and a good chance for the people of Somalia , but some important elements are missing from the accord” Mr. Macaane told radio Simba.
Mr. Macaane called for the Somalis to seize this opportunity and broaden the level of participation by the various Somali stake holders in the ongoing peace efforts.
Some members of the alliance for the re-liberation of Somalia rubbished some clauses in the accord like the deployment of the UN forces and the timeframe for the Ethiopian withdrawal.
They say that these clauses are ambiguous and give Ethiopia a carte blanche.
