Two people have been killed in an exchange of fire between Ethiopians and the anti Ethiopian insurgency at Towfiiq junction in south of the city.

The incident affected the movement of the population and the circulation of cars.

Teenagers and adolescents have fled from the scene fearful for possible Ethiopian reprisal attacks by the Ethiopian military.

The area is reportedly calm now with life returning to normalcy.
