Ethiopian forces have been attacked at Carmoole village in the lower Shabelle region. The forces that were on their way bay region have been targeted by a remote control bomb which was planted in the road.

This is the second attack in the area targeting the Ethiopians in two days time as forces loyal to the Somali insurgency continued to launch ambushes on the Ethiopian troops.

A Number of people were killed yesterday following the explosions that were aimed at Ethiopian army troops.

Explosions and fighting against the Ethiopians and the Somali government troops are taking place almost every day leaving many dead and destroying properties.
